November Month Activities

 Kannada   Rajyotsava

Karnataka Rajyotsava was celebrated with enthusiasm by the teachers and students. Students of class IX spoke about the importance of Rajyotsava and  also about the celebrations which take place in Karnataka to commemorate the day. The Students also sang songs a part of the celebration.

 Nursery children were given an outline of  the Karnataka flag and  were asked to colour the flag. Spandana. C S and Kanya   spoke about the importance of Kannada Rajyotsava.

Yellow Day Celebration

The students of the Pre-primary section of our school celebrated yellow day on November 5th in RV public school.

Shades of yellow stimulated our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism. A LKG student spoke about the sunflower and its importance .

 The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of  the yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students.

Adding focus on the theme, the teachers of LKG, planned art and collage activity of a  mango. The Pre-nursery children made a stick puppet of  a yellow duck, UKG students did thumb printing of a flower. Teachers spoke about yellow as a primary colour  and the children spoke a few words about their favourite yellow toys .

Workshop On Understanding Yourself

Understanding Growing Adolescent, Challenges Of An Adolescent And Coping Strategies

A workshop on Understanding Yourself: Change, Care, Calm and Charm during Growing Up Years was conducted by  Dr.Venkat Lakshmi H  and Dr.Indramma B S on 8th November 2022 for the students of classes 9 and 10.

The resource persons gave an insight to the students on understanding growing adolescent, challenges of an adolescent and coping strategies. They also answered all the queries of the students about adolescence and emotional challenges they face.

Dr.Venkat Lakshmi H  and  Dr.Indramma B S also conducted a special session for the girls of classes 8,9 and 10 on Reproductive Health and Menstrual Hygiene. It was a productive session for the students.

Children’s Day Celebration

Children’s day was celebrated on 14th November 2022.     The day began with a special assembly organized by the teachers. The class teachers of ll classes had organized fun-filled activities for the students. A Magic Show for the primary children and a live ventriloquism show for the high school children by the first Indian ventriloquist Ms.Indushree were organized. Along with refreshments of bhel and ladoo, the students of the primary section were given smiley balls and the high school children were given pencil pouches  as gifts.

The students of the Pre-primary section had a ‘Show and Tell’ competition in which pre-nursery and LKG students spoke on their favourite toy and favourite animals. The children of the Upper KG  spoke on their  favourite festival  and  health and hygiene.
