Kerala Educational Tour

The educational tour to Kerala provided students with an exceptional opportunity to explore the state’s rich cultural heritage, historical significance, diverse natural landscapes, and unique biodiversity. Through visits to a range of prominent destinations, students gained valuable practical knowledge and firsthand experiences that effectively complemented their academic studies. The tour fostered teamwork, independence, and a deeper appreciation for experiential learning, making it a highly enriching, informative, and memorable educational experience.

The First Day of School

Amidst the heat wave warning and delayed monsoon worries, the First Day of School for the academic year was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. To ensure a smooth and welcoming reopening, students were welcomed back to school in phases.

Classes III to X started on 1st June. Classes I and II commenced on 3rd June, while the Nursery students were welcomed on 5th June. The school campus was decorated beautifully to create a warm and cheerful atmosphere for the students.

Common assembly for the students and orientation sessions for parents were conducted to familiarize them with the activities planned for the new academic year. After the assembly conducted by grade IX, the teachers accompanied the students to their classrooms, greeted them warmly and engaged them in various ice-breaking activities, helping them feel comfortable and confident in their new classrooms.

The coordinators addressed the students and encouraged them to begin the year with enthusiasm, discipline, and a positive attitude. The reopening days provided an opportunity for students to reconnect with their friends and teachers and start the academic year with renewed energy and excitement.

The celebrations filled with excitement, curiosity and tears marked a joyful beginning of a promising and successful academic year.

World Environment Day Celebration

On 5th June, Friday, World Environment Day was observed in the school with a focus on promoting environmental awareness and responsibility among students. Unlike the previous year, the celebration was conducted in a simple yet effective manner to keep the essence and meaning of the event.

A special morning assembly was organized for the students from grade VII to grade X  by grade IX students to highlight the importance of protecting the environment and adopting sustainable practices in daily life. During the assembly, students were reminded of their role in conserving natural resources and maintaining a clean and healthy environment through a skit presented by the students. The skit portrayed the evil effect of plastic Earth and stressed on the responsibility of people especially students in protecting our environment for the future generations.

The students, who were not the part of the assembly, observed the Environment Day in their respective classrooms. The class teachers delivered a short speech about the importance of the Day and explained the theme of this year’s World Environment Day – ‘’Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For our Future’’

As a part of the observance, saplings were distributed to students and teachers, encouraging them to nurture plants and contribute to a greener future. The initiative aimed to inculcate a sense of environmental responsibility and foster a love for nature among the students.

The programme served as a gentle reminder that instead of displaying huge billboards and banners or wasting resources for numerous placards, small and consistent actions can make a significant difference in preserving our planet for future generations.
