Investiture Ceremony 2026–27

Leadership is not about holding a position; it is about taking responsibility and setting an example. With this spirit, RV Public School proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony on Friday, 10th July in the school auditorium. The occasion was a celebration of leadership, discipline, and the commitment of young minds to serve the school with dedication.

The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial diya by our honourable Principal Tanuja Tiwari accompanied by the co ordinators, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by a warm and gracious welcome address by Roshan Sir, who emphasized the importance of leadership and inspired the students to lead with sincerity and confidence.

The badge distribution ceremony commenced with our beloved Principal, Mrs. Tanuja Tiwari, presenting the prestigious badges to the Head Boy Bharath Choudary, and the Head Girl, Ananya M. L. This was followed by the presentation of badges to the House Captains: Jai Sathya Narayana K (Bhaskara House), Sushrutha S Panicker (Sushrutha House), Lekhana B V (Aryabhatta House), and Niharika Goutham (Charaka House). The badges were then presented to the Deputy Head Boy Darshit Ganpatlal Khatri , Deputy Head Girl Jhaluck Jain, Sports Captain Vedant Singh, Sports Vice Captain Mahathi V, and Cultural Captain Gowri D S, Thereafter, the Prefects from Classes I to X were honoured with their prefect badges, officially entrusting them with the responsibility of leading by example and upholding the values of the school. The NCC Cadets were also presented with their badges, recognizing their dedication, discipline, and commitment to serving the school with pride.

The gathering was further enriched by the inspiring address of Principal Mrs. Tanuja Tiwari, who motivated the newly elected student leaders to carry out their duties with honesty, integrity, humility, and dedication. Her words encouraged them to become role models and responsible citizens.

The ceremony continued with the solemn Oath Taking Ceremony, where the student council pledged to discharge their duties faithfully and uphold the honour and dignity of the school. The event concluded with the school song, creating a strong sense of unity, pride, and belonging among everyone present.

The Investiture Ceremony was a grand success and a memorable occasion that reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. It marked the beginning of a new journey for the young leaders, who are now entrusted with the privilege of serving their school with excellence and commitment.

RV PUBLIC School Excels at CISCE Zonal Yoga Championship 2026

Poise, Precision and Podium Finishes 

The students of RV Public School brought great pride to the institution with their outstanding performance at the CISCE Zonal Games & Sports 2026 – Yoga Competition, held at Nightingales English School on 14th July 2026.

Demonstrating remarkable discipline, flexibility, balance, and teamwork, our young yogis delivered exceptional performances across various categories, winning medals and earning recognition at the zonal level.

Adding to the school’s glory, Amith M and Bhuvan Yadav N clinched the Gold Medal in the Under-17 Boys Rhythmic Yogasana Pair event. 

Likewise, Harish Choudhary and Ritin T secured the Gold Medal in the Under-14 Boys Rhythmic Yogasana Pair event. Both pairs have earned the honour of representing the zone at the Regional Competition.

The school’s medal tally further increased with several commendable performances. Nishanth Rao and Yashas S won the Silver Medal in the Under-17 Boys Artistic Pair event, while Chirayu Santhosh Kabbar and Sujal B S secured the Silver Medal in the Under-14 Boys Artistic Pair event.

In the girls’ category, Divya Urs V and Vinodhini B bagged the Silver Medal in the Under-14 Girls Rhythmic Yogasana Pair event. Madhurya B M and Svasti S Gupta also earned the Silver Medal in the Under-17 Girls Rhythmic Yogasana Pair event.

Adding another feather to the school’s cap, Yuvraj won the Bronze Medal in the Under-17 Boys Artistic Single event.

Inter-House Cooking Without Fire Competition Inspires Creativity and Healthy Eating

Inter-House  Cooking Without Fire Competition was conducted for the students of classes IX and X on 24th July 2026. The event provided students with an exciting platform to showcase their culinary creativity, teamwork, presentation skills, and awareness of healthy eating—all without the use of fire.

Representing their respective houses with great enthusiasm, participants prepared an array of colourful, nutritious, and innovative dishes using fresh ingredients. The competition highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition, food hygiene, creativity, and sustainable cooking practice. From refreshing salads and wholesome sandwiches to delightful desserts and healthy snacks, the students impressed the judges with their originality, taste, presentation, and nutritional value.

The participants demonstrated excellent planning, coordination, and confidence while explaining the ingredients, health benefits, and preparation methods of their dishes.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and healthy competition among all the houses. It not only nurtured culinary skills but also encouraged students to appreciate the value of healthy food choices and collaborative learning.

The competition proved to be a delightful and enriching experience, leaving students inspired to explore nutritious cooking while fostering creativity, cooperation, and life skills. The event concluded on a high note with appreciation from the judges and teachers for the remarkable effort and enthusiasm displayed by all the participants.

Educational Visit to RV College of Engineering and RV University

To give students a glimpse into life beyond school and help them explore future academic opportunities, RV Public School organised an educational visit to RV College of Engineering (RVCE) and RV University for the Science Stream students of Grades IX and X on 22nd July 2026.

The day began with great enthusiasm as the students arrived at RV College of Engineering, where they were warmly received by the faculty. A guided tour of the campus introduced them to well-equipped laboratories, research centres, and various engineering departments. As they walked through the campus, students gained an appreciation of how classroom concepts are transformed into real-world innovations. They also learned about the wide range of engineering disciplines and the exciting opportunities available in the field.

The visit continued at RV University, where students experienced the University’s dynamic and multidisciplinary learning environment. They explored the modern campus and interacted with faculty members who shared valuable insights into academic programmes, research opportunities, campus life, and emerging career paths. The interactive sessions encouraged students to ask questions, think critically, and reflect on the many possibilities that await them after school.

The experience not only broadened their understanding of science and technology but also inspired many of them to dream bigger and work towards their future goals with renewed determination. They came back with fresh perspectives, valuable insights, and lasting memories of a day that brought them one step closer to understanding the exciting world of higher education. Such initiatives play an important role in nurturing curiosity, inspiring young minds, and helping students make informed choices about their future.

Vegetable Market and Park Visit

Our Nursery children enjoyed a wonderful visit to the vegetable market and the park on 29.07.2026. At the vegetable market, the children observed a variety of fresh vegetables . They learned the names, colours, and shapes of different vegetables and understood that eating vegetables helps us stay healthy.

After the market visit, the children had a fun time at the park. They enjoyed walking, playing on the swings and slides, and exploring nature. spending time outdoors with their friends.

The visit was a joyful learning experience that helped develop the children’s communication, and social skills through real-life experiences.

Talentshow

Our young stars of Grades 3 and 4 stepped onto the stage with confidence, creativity, and joy. Each performance was a reflection of their unique talents and the courage to share them with an audience.

🎶 Singers filled the hall with melodious voices, proving that music truly is the language of the soul. 

💃 Dancers brought rhythm and energy, lighting up the stage with graceful movements. 📖 Storytellers and Mimics entertained us with imagination and humour, reminding us of the power of words and laughter. 

🎨 Artists and Creative Performers showcased originality, turning simple ideas into magical moments.

Every child who performed is a winner. Their enthusiasm, preparation, and stage presence made the event vibrant and memorable. The applause from teachers, parents, and peers was a testament to their hard work and spirit.

Grade 5 Field Trip

Students learnt that the palace, built in the 18th century, is made mostly of teak wood and decorated with beautiful arches and balconies. Students admired the paintings and carvings that tell stories of Tippu Sultan’s life and times. The palace gave a glimpse into the rich history of Mysore’s rulers and their fight against the British. The palace is a symbol of courage, culture, and heritage. Students understood how historical places help us connect with the past and inspire us to. It was not just a trip—it was a memorable learning journey filled with fun and discovery.

Grade 6 Field Trip

Our students stepped back in time at the majestic Tipu Sultan’s Palace, Bengaluru.

The palace was not just a monument—it’s a living reminder of bravery, culture, and heritage. Students left inspired, curious, and full of pride for our history.
Students were stunned by the teakwood arches & balconies, intricate carvings and paintings telling Tipu Sultan’s story and a glimpse into the courage of the “Tiger of Mysore” 
It was a day of learning, discovery, and unforgettable memories!

Sree Rama Vidyalaya Interschool Competition

Debate Competition – First Place

Aadhya Aravind Rao, of IX A, showcased exceptional confidence, clarity of thought and strong communication skills at the Debate Competition held on 13 July 2026, where she secured the First Place. She presented her ideas with conviction and demonstrated impressive reasoning, articulation and the ability to engage effectively with the topic.

Her achievement reflects her dedication, preparation and growing confidence as a young speaker. The competition provided her with a valuable platform to strengthen her debating and public-speaking skills. Her remarkable performance is truly commendable and serves as an inspiration to her peers to express their ideas with confidence and conviction.

English Essay Competition – First Place

Saanvi Adithya, of IX B, brought laurels through her outstanding performance in the English Essay Competition held on 9 July 2026, where she secured the First Place. Her essay reflected creativity, originality and a commendable command of the English language. She expressed her ideas with clarity, depth and confidence, demonstrating her ability to communicate effectively through the written word.

Her achievement is a testament to her dedication, imagination and passion for writing. The competition provided her with an opportunity to showcase her literary skills and creative thinking. Her success is truly commendable and serves as an inspiration to other young writers to explore their creativity and strive for excellence.

Science Quiz Competition

Samarth U Nandagudi and Anish C, of IX A, participated enthusiastically in the Science Quiz Competition held on 11 July 2026, where they secured the Consolation Prize. The duo displayed their scientific knowledge, quick thinking and teamwork while tackling a range of challenging questions.

Their performance reflected their curiosity, enthusiasm for science and eagerness to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom. The competition provided them with an enriching platform to enhance their analytical thinking, problem-solving and collaborative skills. Their achievement is a proud reflection of their dedication and spirit of participation, inspiring their peers to explore, learn and strive for excellence.

Hindi Essay Competition – Third Place

Rinku Kumari, of IX A, showcased her creativity, imagination and proficiency in the Hindi language at the Hindi Essay Competition, where she secured the Third Place. Through her thoughtful ideas, expressive writing and well-structured presentation, she demonstrated her ability to communicate her thoughts with clarity and originality.

Her achievement reflects her dedication to developing her language and writing skills. The competition provided her with a valuable platform to express her ideas creatively and appreciate the richness of the Hindi language. Her accomplishment is truly commendable and serves as an inspiration to her peers to nurture their literary talents and strive for excellence.

Rising Star of Badminton

Vaibhav Rao Nandikolla

In the U/14 category, Vaibhav Rao Nandikolla of VII B turned in a stellar performance on the badminton court. He began his winning journey with a Gold medal at the Zonal level, showcasing sharp reflexes and astute gameplay. He has also participated at the Karnataka State Badminton Federation Championship where he earned Gold medals in both the Singles and Doubles categories reflecting his exceptional skills and consistent dedication to the sport.

CISCE Sports and Games 2026: Students of RVPS Shine at Zonal and Regional Levels

Aaradhya   Purushottam Naik

Competing in the U/17 Breast Stroke category, Aaradhya of VII B delivered an outstanding performance at the Zonals, sweeping Gold medals in the 50m, 100m, and 200m Breast Stroke events. She displayed her exceptional stamina and technical precision throughout the events. She carried these victories into the Regional level competition, securing  Gold in the 50m Breast Stroke and ensuring her representation at the National level. Her consistent excellence and incredible endurance across multiple tiers of competition mark her as one of the standout athletes of our school.

Sushanth K ( Ajay K)

Participating in the U/14category, Sushanth of VII C demonstrated impressive speed and remarkable versatility in the swimming pool. At the Zonal level, he delivered a truly dominant performance, securing Gold medals in the 50m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, and 100m Freestyle events. He continued his strong form at the Regionals, adding a Bronze in the 50m Freestyle to his growing collection of achievements and proving to be one of the rising stars of RV Public School.
