Excellencia

Gopalan International school organized an Interschool completion ” Excellencia 2020″ in which Tanshika Krishanth of Class I B took part in the Enact and Narrate Competition. The competition was attended by children of schools from all over India. There were two rounds organized in which the first round consisted of a theme round in which the children were to come dressed as their favourite fairy tale character and speak for 3 minutes. Tanshika Krishanth of our school dressed as the beautiful Cindrella in a large ball gown and gave a scintillating performance for which she got selected for the next round. Only around 10 students were selected from more than 40 students. In the second round which was an online competion Tanshika excelled herself by delivering a long dialogue of Shakespeare’s Shylock in Merchant of Venice. She started with “To bait fish withal ” and enthralled her viewers. She bagged the third position and she won the hearts of all the viewers with even the judges surprised as to how a 6 year old is able to deliver the full length dialogues of a Shakespearen play.
