Class 5 2020 Dusshera celebration

Navaratri is a Hindu festival that spans nine nights (and ten days) and is celebrated every year in the autumn. Karnataka celebrates Navratri as Dasara. Golu is the festive display of dolls and figurines in South India during the autumn festive season, particularly around the multiday Navaratri (Dussehra, Dasara) festival of Hinduism. On this occasion of Navratri, class 5 students of RV public school brought in their unending and seem less creativity through various colours. To display dolls, Vishrutha from class 5B has made an artificial veena, decorated elephants and greeting cards. We have Dhandiya, Garbha dance performed by Ruchika and Tanushree (5C) and Lakshita (5A) respectively. The Dasara dolls add to the grace and the children were equally enthusiastic in portraying it in the assembly as well, through zoom. Children have expressed their creativity through art and drawings as well. May this festival bring in enormous courage and valor to all.
