Bidding farewell to our outgoing Tenth standard batch- 3rd February 2024.

Students of class IX gave a memorable farewell to their friends of class X on 3rd February 2023. The theme of the event was Focus. Students presented foot tapping dances and mime which kept the audience mesmerized. Mrs. Lakshmi Sridhar welcomed the august gathering.

Mr. Ameen Haque – founder of storywallahs popularly known as story monk was the chief guest for the evening. Dr. M P Shyam – President Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust, Dr, (H.C.) A V S Murthy – Honourable secretary, Sri, D P Nagaraj – Joint Secretary, CA Dr. A S Vishnu Bharat – Chairman RV Public School and Sri Nanda Kumar and Sri Nikhil Murthy – trustees RRST  graced the evening with their presence. All 68 students of class X were given mementos by the guests. 

Ready To Take-off And Leave The Ordinary Behind

A few NCC students, selected by merit were given a chance to fly a microlite aircraft  as a co-pilots on 8th February 2024 at Jakkur  aerodrome. The cadets were briefed about the controls prior to their flying. It was a prestigious moment for botht he cadets and the school. 

Exhibitionconducted by the nursery wing of the school

An exhibiiton was conducted by the nursery wing of the school on 10th February 2024.  Children under the guidance of their parents made models related to animals, flowers, solar system, birds, fruits, vegetables, market place, colours,  addition, shapes, ordinal numbers, family words, position words to name a few. Every child explained about his/her model to the visitors and parents and children participated with a lot of enthusiasm.  

Parents were happy to see their wards speaking with confidence.

Dazzle, Razzle and Buzzle- It’s  Time for RV Carnival.

RV Carnival  was organised by the school  on 2nd February 2024 as a colourful  and fun event  featuring games, food and entertainment to engage students, parents and  guests and also to showcase the talent of the children. 

Murals, paintings, envelopes, fridge magnets, tie and dye dupattas,  key chains, jewellery  like bracelets, earrings, bead necklaces made by the students in school  as a part of their SUPW activities were displayed in the carnival. Sumptuous and tasty food like burgers, pani puri, bhel puri and bun butter jam made by the students were bought by the parents with great enthusiasm. Parents and students equally enjoyed the games set up by the students. The carnival prepared the students for future, boosted their confidence, helped them to explore their interest and think out of the box. 

Asia Icon Award

Samarth Nandagudi  U of class VI was awarded Young achievers award in the Asia Icon Awards 2023 for his excellent performance in the Asia Icon Awards 2023 organised by A G L.

Bhagavad Gita shloka recital

As a part of after school learning program, International Society for Krishna consciousness, Kumaraswamy Layout, South Bengaluru, conducts Bhagavad Gita shloka recital classes. Certificates were given to the students who had completed module 1 during their course held from August 23 to January 24. 

Nature Study – Cubs and Bulbuls  22nd February 2024

Nature study is not only a universal activity but also deeply embedded in the cultural  and traditional practices of various societies around us. Students from Cubs and Bulbuls embarked on a nature trail on 22nd February 2024 to Rangoli Gardens to learn and experience various cultures and traditions and the diversity of our motherland.

Third Prize in Karate

Prisha PB of class IX participated in 2nd All Indian National I S K A Karate championship 2024held in February 2024 at Bangalore university UCPUC Indoor Stadium, Bangalore and secured the third position in KUMITE of 60 Kg category. 

2023 KATATHON 

Darshit Khatri of class VII participated in the 5 th level of TopKAT in 2023 KATathon – a Titan Genius Kidz 13 th National Abacus and Vedic Math Championship 2023-24 in the 1 st round held at G –Zones and emerged as the winner.

Tanishk Khatri of class VI participated in 2023 KATathon  –  a Titan Genius Kidz 13th National Abacus and Vedic Math Championship 2023-24 in the 1st round held at G –Zones  and emerged as the winner

Prasnanjey Atibudhi of class X participated in the  National Championship held at Calicut, kerala from 16th February 2024 to 18th February 2024 and won the silver medal in Tumbling team championship.

Trekking-Scouts and Guides

Trekking and nature study are essential components of the scouting and guiding experience, fostering a deeper connection with the natural world while promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills. Students from scouts and guides group embarked on a trekking expedition on 16th February to Ramdevara Betta led by our school unit leaders, the expedition aimed to instill a sense of exploration, teamwork, and appreciation for nature among the young participants.

In celebration of climbing the academic ladder- UKG- Graduation-17th February  2024

Students of the Lower Kindergarten gave a memorable farewell to their friends of the Upper Kindergarten on the 17th February 2024 with foot tapping numbers which kept the audience mesmerized. Students of the Upper Kindergarten thanked their parents and grandparents with a graduation song. 

The students of UKG were awarded certificates and mementos by the chief guest Dr. Padam Kanwar Bhati, Founder and Managing Director of Wings Within.

Scouts and Guides Campfire Program – 27th February 2024

A Campfire program of  Scouts and Guides was organized on 27th February 2024 in the school grounds. Sri M Srinivas, Assistant District Commissioner, Open Scouts Unit graced the program as the chief guest and Lion K Gangappa Gowda MJF, State Secretary, Bharat scouts and Guides, Karnataka was the guest of honour of the event. After the ceremonial lighting of the campfire, students participated in cultural programs. 

ABACUS Genius

Mohit M R of class III participated in The state Level Abacus Primary Level competition at Hoskote and in 5 minutes solved 124 sums out of the given 125 and won the Super Star Award.

He also  participated in The state Level Abacus Primary Level competition at Tumkur and in 5 minutes solved 115 sums out of the given 125 and won the Champion II award.

2nd All India national I.S.K.A  Karate Championship 2024

Srisha P.B of class II participated in 2nd All Indian National I S K A Karate championship 2024 held in February 2024 at Bangalore university UCPUC Indoor Stadium, Bangalore and secured  the first position in individual KATA of  8 years category  and won the second position in  KUMITE  of  under 30 kg category.
