Red and Yellow Pride: Kannada Rajyotsava at Our School
Kannada Rajyotsava, the state formation day of Karnataka, was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm in our school.
Students presented a cultural programme showcasing the rich heritage and traditions of Karnataka. The event included folk dances, speeches, and skits highlighting the contributions of eminent personalities who have brought glory to the state. The vibrant decorations in red and yellow—the colours of the Kannada flag—added to the festive atmosphere.
Teachers spoke about the importance of preserving and promoting the Kannada language and culture, encouraging students to take pride in their mother tongue. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a resounding chorus of “Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate” filled everyone with a sense of pride and unity.
The celebration was a wonderful reminder of our shared cultural roots and a tribute to the glorious land of Karnataka.




Sur Sringar aur Shabdon ka Jashn: Hindi Literary Competition
The Hindi Literary Competition was organized on 29th and 30th October 2025 in our school to promote love for the Hindi language and to enhance students’ literary and communication skills. The event aimed to encourage students to express themselves creatively and confidently in Hindi.
Students from various classes enthusiastically participated in a range of literary activities such as singing Hindi Patriotic songs, Picture description, debate, monologue delivery and so on. The participants showcased their talent, creativity, and command over the language through their thoughtful expressions and imaginative presentations.
The judges appreciated the participants for their clarity, pronunciation, and originality of ideas. The competition not only provided a platform for students to display their linguistic skills but also helped in developing a deeper appreciation for Hindi.
The event concluded with words of encouragement from the teachers, inspiring everyone to continue nurturing their interest in Hindi literature.








Grade X Students Visit Innovision 2025
The students of Grade X were taken to visit Innovision 2025, an innovative and technology-driven exhibition conducted by the BCA Forum of SSMRV College on 14th November 2025. The event provided an excellent platform for students to explore emerging trends in technology, creativity, and problem-solving.
During the visit, our students enthusiastically witnessed the students of the BCA Forum of SSMRV College showcasing their ideas, skills, and understanding of scientific concepts which gave them valuable exposure to real-world applications of technology.
The visit proved to be enriching and inspiring, encouraging students to think creatively and deepen their interest in science and technology. It was a memorable learning experience that broadened their perspective and boosted their confidence.








Victory and Talent on Display
Our students participated in the Inter-School Competition held at National PU College on 6th November 2025 and achieved outstanding success. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and exceptional performance brought great pride and laurels to our school.
Our students excelled in various categories and secured the following prizes:
- Sahana N B and Pravardhinii S of grade X participated in Funathon and bagged the first Prize.
- Vishrutha R and Yashashree V of grade X B participated in the Collage Making competition and won the first Prize
- Shravya S of grade X and Ananya M L of grade IX participated in the Model Making competition and won the first Prize.
- Digant U Shankar of grade IX B participated in the Instrumental Music competition and secured the third position.
We congratulate all the winners and participants for showcasing their talents and representing our school with excellence.



Namma Kannada, Namma Hemme – Our Kannada, Our Pride Kannada Literary Competition
To celebrate the richness and beauty of our state language, the Kannada Literary Competition was organised in our school on 27th and 29th October 2025 as part of the Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations. The event aimed to encourage students to appreciate Kannada literature and express their creativity through the language.
Students from Classes grade I to X participated enthusiastically in a variety of competitions such as Singing Kannada Folk songs, , quiz competition based on Kannada literature, culture, and history, pick and speak, debate and so on. Each event reflected the students’ deep understanding of Kannada culture, literature, and heritage. The participants impressed the judges with their eloquence, confidence, and originality of thought.
The competition provided a wonderful platform for students to showcase their linguistic skills and fostered a sense of pride in our mother tongue. The winners were awarded certificates and prizes in the school assembly, and their efforts were highly appreciated by all.



Navigating Career Choices: A Guidance Session for the students of Grade X
A comprehensive Career Counselling Session was conducted for the students of Grade X on 21st November 2025 as part of the school’s ongoing efforts to guide students in making informed academic and career choices. This initiative, aimed to empower students with valuable insights into emerging career pathways and the skills required to excel in an evolving world.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Shyam Sundar, an accomplished engineer with seven years of corporate experience, including his significant contributions to Google 360 across 23 states of India. Mr. Sundar, who currently serves as the Co-founder and CEO of Arivu (formerly Affinity Career Counselling), brought his deep expertise in career guidance to the platform.
He enlightened students about the importance of identifying their strengths, understanding various career options, and aligning their interests with future opportunities. Through engaging discussions and real-life examples, he highlighted the need for informed decision-making and encouraged students to explore diverse fields with confidence and clarity. Students gained practical knowledge about subject choices, competitive examinations, skill development, and goal setting.
The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to ask questions and seek personalised guidance, making it a highly enriching experience. Students had the opportunity to interact with a commercial pilot about the choice of subjects, and his experience. Overall, the career counselling session proved to be insightful and motivating, equipping Grade X students with the direction and confidence required to embark on their academic and professional journeys.





Towards a Healthier Mindset: Student Mental Health Awareness Program
A session on Positive Mental Health was conducted for the students of Grades VIII, IX, and X on 19th November 2025 by Ms. Avani Sirsi and Mr. Palash, Counselling Psychologists from the CADABAMS Group.
The resource persons enlightened the students on the importance of mental wellness in their daily lives. They discussed various factors that can disrupt mental health and highlighted practical strategies to cope with stress, maintain emotional balance, and build resilience.
The interactive session helped students understand the significance of seeking help when needed and adopting healthy habits to nurture their overall well-being. It was an informative and impactful experience that encouraged students to prioritise mental health.







Power and Precision Personified
C. Sri Harshitha of Class VII participated in the Inter-School Karate Championship conducted by the AVR Institution & Shitoryu Karate-Do (R) at Sri Saraswathi Vidya Mandira, Bengaluru, in the 13-years Brown/Black Girls category. Demonstrating exceptional skill and discipline, she secured First Place in both the Kata and Kumite events, and Second Place in the Team Kata event. The school congratulates her on her outstanding performance and dedication to the sport.
