Patriotism in the Air – Independence Day Celebration at RV Public School
The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with grandeur and nationalistic zeal at RV Public School. The campus came alive with the spirit of patriotism as students and staff gathered to honour the nation’s glorious history of freedom. The programme commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by the chief guest, Air Vice Marshal BK Murali AVSM, VSM (Retd.) (former assistant Chief of Air Staff, Indian Air Force), followed by the singing of the National Anthem that resonated with pride across the grounds.
The cultural programme was a vibrant reflection of India’s unity in diversity. Students presented soulful patriotic songs that paid homage to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. This was followed by graceful patriotic dance performances that captured the essence of India’s rich culture and resilience.
The highlight of the morning was the drill display and pyramid formation by the students, which left the audience spellbound. The synchronised movements and formations symbolised strength, discipline, and teamwork – qualities essential for building a strong nation.
The school magazine SMRITHI 2024-25 was also released by the chief guest, which is a reflection of the culture of the school and is the mirror to the cream of the activities conducted in school, creativity of the imagination of the staff and students and the expression of the staff and students in the session 2024-25. Trustees and office bearers of the RSST Trust, HOIs, staff and students of various RV institutions participated in the celebration.
